Beagle - Mia--adopted! - Small - Adult - Female - Dog
Mia, an 18-pound pocket beagle, about 5 years old. So darling! Mia is almost completely house-trained; she is crate-trained, affectionate, and gets along with all the dogs in her foster home, although she can be a little snarly in the kitchen if there's food involved. She loves to sit on your lap and cuddle. She is interested in cats, but good when she meets them (most of them are taller than she is). Mia is heartworm-positive and has had her first immiticide shot; she will have two more the first week of September (xxxx). She will be ready to go to a new home after a few weeks of minimal activity, while the heart worms die off. Mia's foster home is about an hour away from the shelter, so if you'd like to meet Mia, please contact Club Pet in advance.
